The proposed Oxford Street East cycleway will run along the southern side of Oxford Street from Taylor Square to the corner of Centennial Park. At each end, it will connect with the existing cycleway.
The cycleway will be separated from traffic by concrete and allow bikes to travel in both directions, similar to existing cycleways. This ensures that it serves the entire community, including children and people who don't currently ride a bike due to safety concerns.
